One of the unique attributes to go-karting is it's family-friendy atmosphere.
Families all come to the track together, stay together, work together and leave together. Other sports the family may arrive
together but the kids will soon disappear to be with their team or friends. Parents won't talk to their
kids until the end of the event, many times only because their child is coming to ask if they can stay late
or go to a friend's house. The parents leave while the child stays. Not so with karting. The pits are full of Dads
working on the karts alongside their teenage boys and girls. The adults are teaching the kids without the kids even
knowing it. They are joking, laughing, & having a good time. These parents are giving their kids some real life
lessons on working hard, not giving up, fair play and respect. It can be a huge bonding experience that may otherwise be hard
to come by.
