Blue Clone Sportsman Class Rules

6.5 Lifan or 6.5 JiangDong motor is the only motor allowed in the class. Lifan is sold at Harbor Freight.

Modifications allowed:

• Governor and oil level sensor removal by authorized sealer.

• Air filter adapter and throttle linkage installed.

• Pulse Racing muffled header installed. Phone # 618-732-6215. Recommend a header brace be installed to help prevent breakage. Header must be wrapped with header wrap.

• Main jet drilled by the authorized sealer to prevent overheating.

Motor must be inspected and sealed by an authorized sealer.

• It is strongly recommended that the motor be purchased from an authorized sealer. If motor is purchased from a different source, it must remain in the sealed, unopened shipping box to be eligible for standard sealing rates. If the motor box has been opened, extra charges will incur during the sealing process or the motor may possibly be disallowed.

• Motor will have side cover, rocker cover, head, and carburetor sealed.

• No blue printing of any kind allowed.

• No rebuilding of engines allowed.

• No Honda parts allowed. (Valve springs, rocker arms, carburetor, etc.)

• No aftermarket parts of any kind allowed besides the above-approved parts only.

• This is a sportsman motor and intended to be run box stock.

Do not disassemble the engine in any manner. A broken seal will deem the motor illegal and the motor will need re-inspection for legal status. All parts will be compared to a known legal box stock motor.

Any drum/shoe style clutch allowed. No coated shoes allowed. No disk clutches allowed! 35 chain only, no 219 chain.

If you are caught modifying this engine other than what the rules allow, you will be removed from the class with loss of points for the season.

Burris 55 or Bridgestone YBN/YDS/YJL tires only. No prepping of tires.

A sealing fee will be charged to help cover labor and the cost of seals.
